Can you import a text file and can Zotero pull references from a pdf?
I am a new Zotero user with two questions. Can Zotero pull in the references listed in the bibliography of a pdf? For some reason I thought that either Zotero or some other reference manager could do this already.
Also is there a way to pull into Zotero a text file of references. If I have a Word document, for example, can I pull in the paper's bibliography as a text file. I am thinking that I will need to convert the txt to another format first.
I know that we can export BibTeX or RIS files from our databases like Ebsco and import those into Zotero. But can you pull in a plain text file?
Thanks for taking the time to help me.
