What is this option supposed to do?

Hi, I've found an option in "Options" and I'm not sure what it is supposed to do.

Here's a screenshot http://postimg.org/image/cf3i08lil/. Sorry that it's in Spanish but I can't seem to be able to select another language.

If I change the folder there, what will happen?
