Deleted a note by error--can I get it back?

I see undo within a note. But I deleted the whole note. Can I get it back?

    There is currently no way to un-delete a note or item. However, you should be prompted to verify if you would like to delete the item before it is permanently deleted. If this did not happen than then there is a strong chance that you simply removed the note from the collection. If that is the case just search through your library for it and drag back into the collection.

    There is a ticket to create a trash can folder where deleted items stay for a period of time, but that enhancement has not been added yet.
