APA Format: Lower Case Article Titles and Italicized Volume Numbers
I think this must be something I'm doing wrong, as I've searched the forums and I can't find anyone with the same question. In fact, others seem to be getting the article titles portion of this question to work fine...
Whenever I do "Create bibliography from selected item" in Zotero, or when I use the Word add-in, my citations are always formatted wrong on two counts: 1) article titles use traditional title case (all words begin with upper case) rather than APA style, which dictates only the first word capitalized in the title; and 2) volume numbers, which according to APA are supposed to be italicized, are always roman.
Am I doing something wrong? Or are these knows issues?
Thanks,
-Jim

erazlogoedited May 8, 2008APA dev style italicizes volume numbers--you can install it here: http://www.zotero.org/styles/ Proper sentence case for titles is an open ticket; until then APA leaves titles as is. You can control title display in Zotero--control-click on the title and choose lowercase, then capitalize any proper names manually.
