select citation rules

Hi!
How can I setup my chosen rule for citation? My favourit one has been downloaded, but every style has a pipe. When I insert a citation, Zotero chooses an other one. My favourit one is called APA, and the style is like this:
Super, D. E. (1980). A life-span, life-space approach to career development. Journal of vocational behavior, 16(3), 282-298.
Thank you,
Tamas
  • I'm confused - Zotero ships with APA style - what's not working exactly? Describe exactly what you're doing and the output you're getting.
  • When I insert a citation from zotero database, zotero uses the following style:
    Super, E., Donald. „A lifespan, life-space approach to career development” sz 16 (1980): 282–298.

How can I swich to APA?
    thaks,

  • How do you insert the citation?
  • Hi!
I click and keep the item with left mouse button, and pull the item to a word documentum. Should I do it differently?
    thx
    Tamas
  • It depends - if all you need is some quick citations in a Word document this will do just fine.
    See here
    http://www.zotero.org/support/creating_bibliographies#quick_copy
for how to change the citations style for drag&drop (we call it quick copy) the page also describes other options, including the Word plugin.
  • Many thanks. I have tried and it worked.
