Year not imported from Wikipedia COinS article

When I import from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Victor_Frederick_Weisskopf an entry like

| title=The Joy of Insight: Passions of a Physicist
| first=Victor
| last=Weisskopf
| location=New York
| publisher=Basic Books
| year=1991}}

the year is not imported.

Any idea why, anyone?

This is Firefox 2.0.0.14 (German) and Zotero 1.0.3

Upon closer inspection and review of http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Citation_templates I noticed that with 'cite book' the field with the publishing date is supposed to be 'date', not 'year'.

Thus is seems that the citation in the article was not as it's supposed to be - I changed it to 'date' - it works now.

(Hope I got this right.)

No, it should be "year". "date" is for full dates like 1999-01-01. Looks like someone broke the Wikipedia citation template.

To discuss issues like this in the future, start a new thread on Wikipedia on the WikiProject Microformats/COinS talk page, and one of the people who maintains COinS on Wikipedia (basically just me) will see it.
