Style Error: Analytical and Bioanalytical Chemistry

Hello,

The current style template for the Journal of Analytical and Bioanalytical Chemistry isn't allowing me to treat article by DOI. The correct style should be:

Krienitz L, Ballot A, Kotut K, Wiegand C, Putz S, Metcalf JS, Codd JA, Pfugmacher S (2003) Contribution of hot spring cyanobacteria to the mysterious deaths of Lesser Flamingos at Lake Bogoria, Kenya. FEMS Microbiol Ecol 43:141–148. doi: 10.1111/j.1574-6941.2003.tb01053.x

but I get

Krienitz L, Ballot A, Kotut K, et al. (2003) Contribution of hot spring cyanobacteria to the mysterious deaths of Lesser Flamingos at Lake Bogoria, Kenya. FEMS Microbiology Ecology 43:141–148. doi: 10.1111/j.1574-6941.2003.tb01053.x

I'm trying to get all names of authors to appear as I have in the first example (rather than have the et al. cut them off) - and was also wondering if journal abbreviations are possible? I would imagine journal abbreviations might be more complicated. Help with changing the way the names appear or both are greatly appreciated!

Thanks
  • as for abbreviations - Zotero will print whatever is in the journal abbr. field (stripping the periods).
In the next version of Zotero, due out early next week, we'll be using an abbreviation list.

The et al. issue is actually a bit more complicated. We just added the style following a list supplied by Springer and it is supposed to follow a generic template (which it links to). I see that that doesn't actually appear to be the case, but it'll probably take a little time to figure out how to best proceed.
  • Thank you for the quick reply! I'll look for the next version of Zotero next week.
