Multi-item translation should not use a window

This is a problem that affects Mac users. I am using the web browser (Safari in my case, but this is browser independent) in the full screen mode. When I am viewing a page that displays a list of items and click on the translate button, I am presented with another window where I can choose which items to import. The problem is that this new window will open as a full screen window as well and will cause a transition to a new full screen app screen. Exiting this window will cause a transition back to desktop.

I would like the dialog for selecting the items to be implemented as an overlay to the existing page instead of window if possible.
