Firefox not responding; can't import into zotero from Endnote

Importing into zotero from endnote used to work well on my mac (once I figured out that zotero could not import whole libraries unless all references were selected). However now when I try to import a file exported from endnote firefox stops responding! (It works fine when I import a file from zotero). Why??!!! Note I am running MAc OS 10.4.11 on a macbook that is 8 months old.When I set dom.max_chrome_script_run_time to 0 firefox stalls. When I set it to 10 I just get a script error message which will not resolve.
