Style Request: University of Luxembourg - History
Hi,
like many others I was searching for the citation style that is used at our university and (like many others) I couldn't find it ;-(. However I found a citation style, which is quite similar: the one of the Historisches Seminar Heidelberg (http://www.zotero.org/styles/universitat-heidelberg-historisches-semina )
To show the differences, between the existing style and the one I want, I thought it would be the easiest thing to write down a list with examples (the things that are written in big letters should be written using small capitals):

Hew STRACHAN, Der Erste Weltkrieg. Eine neue illustrierte Geschichte, 3. Aufl., München, Pantheon, 2009.

How it should be:

How it should be:

Articles encyclopaedia, lexica…
How it is:
Knut SCHULZ, Artikel „Hofrecht“, in: Lexikon des Mittelalters, , Stuttgard, 1999, Bd.5, S. 77.
How it should be:

That’s it so far. Maybe it would also be great to have an option for archive documents. If needed, I can also provide the citation rules as Word Document.
Thanks a lot in advance.
If there are any questions, feel free to write me. I will do my best to answer as soon as possible.

This is an old discussion that has not been active in a long time. Before commenting here, you should strongly consider starting a new discussion instead. If you think the content of this discussion is still relevant, you can link to it from your new discussion.
You can try to fix up the style yourself with the help of the information here: http://www.zotero.org/support/dev/citation_styles/style_editing_step-by-step including the visual style editor linked to from that page and we'll do our best to help you with specific questions you run into.
Instead of:
CULL, Nicolas: Culloden. 1964. In: Mythen der Nationen. Völker im Film, ROTHER, Rainer (Hrsg.): München, Berlin 1998, S. 341–347.
I need:
CULL, Nicolas: Culloden. 1964. In: Mythen der Nationen. ROTHER, Rainer (Hrsg.): Völker im Film. München, Berlin 1998, S. 341–347.
However I don't have any clue how to change the position of the name. Maybe someone can help me on this one?
Thanks in advance
<else-if type="chapter entry-dictionary entry-encyclopedia" match="any">
<group delimiter="">
<text variable="title" text-case="capitalize-first" suffix=", "/>
<text value="in" suffix=": " prefix=" "/>
<text variable="container-title" text-case="capitalize-first" suffix=", "/>
<names variable="editor">
<name form="long" delimiter="/" delimiter-precedes-last="never" sort-separator=" " font-style="normal" prefix="hrsg. von ">
<name-part name="family" font-variant="small-caps"/>
</name>
</names>
</group>
It's in the macro "title".
Switch around
<text variable="container-title" text-case="capitalize-first" suffix=", "/>
and everything from
<names...
to
</names>
In the visual editor you can just drag the "names" node up one in the tree view on the left.
I'm very sorry, but I don't really get what you mean by "switching around"...
Put
<text variable="container-title" text-case="capitalize-first" suffix=", "/>
after
</names>
