Upgrade StorageSave Zotero snapshot from current page which is SVG

Zotero Standalone + Chrome connector provide the context menu entry to Save Zotero snapshot from current page. However, the SVG image does not get saved in the library, nor a link to the file.
A) Does Zotero support saving images such as SVG?
B) If not, why is there a context menu entry? It should not appear to avoid confusion.
