Style Request: Constellations

I'm not familiar with styles and the journal provides no description of what they require, only a link to an EndNote style which I cannot import into Zotero. If someone can assist me in either identifying a like-style or converting this one to Zotero format I would be very happy.

  • As a follow-up, I notice that EndNote refers to the style as Author-Year? Does this make it compatible with all other Author-Year styles or are there other possible variations within this style type (I would assume the latter).
  • that style is Chicago (Full Note) that comes pre-installed with Zotero.
  • provided this is the journal we're talking about: http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/journal/10.1111/%28ISSN%291467-8675/homepage/ForAuthors.html
  • If anyone could help me confirm if the Constellations style is similar to this one - already available in Zotero - I'd be much obliged:

  • Adam: Yes that is the journal. How are you sure its Chicago?
  • I looked at published articles.
  • Is there a possibility they have migrated to a different style? I only ask because it appears they want an Author-Date (which I understand to be intext not footnote). The style-guide uploaded to EndNote (dated March 2012) is described as: Citation Style Term:
    Author-Year
  • A journal really can't require you to own Endnote - you'll have to ask them.
But even the early view articles are Chicago footnotes, so I doubt that's the case.
  • Thanks for your help Adam. They do in fact require Chicago although nowhere do they explicitly say-so. Some journal's need to make an investment in a user-friendly website.

    Thanks again for your assistance.
  • The style for Constellations (i.e. a link to CMoS full note) is now up. It will appear on the style repository within 30mins.. (See here if you need instructions for installing styles in standalone.)

There's no need to install this style in addition to Chicago Full Note - it doesn't do anything different - this is just to help other users find the correct style.
