Upgrade StorageRemove user from group

I can't find any documentation on proper procedure to remove a user from a group.
So I went to group management and selected "remove" and update for a user.
Now that user can no longer open Zotero Standalone or Firefox.
They have their own personal library and other groups not related to ours, which they now cannot use.
ZSA opens fine, as soon as you click on anything the little Windows busy circle spins, and it doesn't stop - get the "Not Responding" in the title bar.
Firefox window won't even show up. Though it does show in process explorer as running.
Our zotero group is having a major issue with syncing, in another thread, this is why I'm removing a few of the users. They have a grant due Tues that can't wait for the sync fix.

dale_huffmanIt worked. It just took a very long time (>1hr) to remove the group from the client, and there were no messages, no sync icon or anything, just appeared locked.
