Retrieve Metadata from PDF after creation of parent

Hello,

As far as I can see it is not possible to retrieve the metadata for a PDF once a parent item was created.

Is there any reason for that?

It would need to update the parent item and Zotero cannot do that at the moment.

Good to hear that it is at least on the todo list.

I am looking forward to seeing this implemented.
