Is there a heavily commented translator?

I'm looking for someone's translator that has comments explaining all the steps. I'm stuck on the doWeb section and while I realize each translator is different, I think I would find it useful to have an example so I at least know I'm getting all the right parts included in mine.

    The community is working on improving the dev documentation, but sadly I do not believe there is a heavily commented translator. You might consider posting your translator and the questions you have about it to the dev list, where someone else can take a look at it and offer suggestions.
