Moving citations

I am having some trouble rearranging citations that I have put into Oo from zotero, as well as inserting citations from zotero into documents which already have my own footnotes in them. Also, it has some trouble when I copy and paste parts of documents with zotero citations into other documents.

When I do these things and then use the "refresh" feature, the program gets confused. I'm sorry I'm not able to be much more descriptive, but I suspect that many users are having similar problems.

Are these already noted problems?

    Quick addition before people reply: Zotero is at the stage where it is usable to generate nice citations, but it is not yet stable enough to manage all your footnote entries in long document. I now have a number of 'dead documents' where no zotero functions will work any longer. I get runtime errors any time I do things in those documents.

    The program needs to be more stable. For now, I will use it to generate references and then copy and paste them into the documents I need.
