Now I'm at the same point as others, android chome gets stuck at looking for translators. In Firefox it works but saves page snapshots instead of citations. I've tried 'requesting desktop site' but that doesn't seem to do anything unfortunately (am looking at Urban Studies journal article).
Am I correct in assuming I just have to accept my work flow will not be as seamless as on a desktop?
if you're just getting a snapshot, that suggests the page doesn't appear to be fully supported - what's the URL?

The bookmarklet successfully works on Firefox mobile for the pub med link you provided. It doesn't work the link I tried,

That's frustrating, Urban Studies is a leading journal in my field and I've never had issues with zotero saving citations from it before, even chrome on desktop.
Does anybody know if there is a way to give feedback and encourage zotero development on these fronts? I'd happily donate.
don't use the mobile site, that will almost never work with Zotero (pubmed being an exception). Using the bookmarklet on the regular website will work.
Used advice above (fcheslack Feb 23rd 2013) with some success: that is, items from library catalog and Google Books seem to save OK (no error message). However, these items don't show up in Zandy (Samsung Tablet, Android) after due syncing, nor in Zotero Standalone (HP desktop, Chrome) after syncing.
no, currently all items saved through bookmarks are saved just to "My Library" -- various ways of improving that are under consideration and something is going to get implemented.
Hello. I'm using a microsoft edge browser and would like to download the bookmarklet but cannot drag it to the favorites bar as the bar closes whenever I click onto the bookmarklet. How do I download it, please?

On Windows 10 you should be able to just paste regedit into whatever the assistant's name is (Courtana?) instead of finding the run command.
Note that you can pretty thoroughly mess up your operating system in the registry, so I can't say I recommend doing this unless you're quite comfortable with it. Why are you so set on using Edge?
I've tried it with IE and although the bookmarklet saves in favorites, the system keeps saying 'Looking for translators' and then seems to get stuck. I have Zotero standalone. I'm not keen on Chrome or Firefox, so am hoping to make it work on either ME or IE. Can you help with the IE issue? Thank you!
OK. I'm going to point out that "doesn't really allow bookmarklets" and "doesn't have proper extension support" are, in fact, features of IE and Edge, so do take that into account as you evaluate their performance.
But if you're set on it... do you have Zotero Standalone running while you're trying this?

Also, you should get a message with the title of each items as it is saving. Are you seeing that?
And, yes, they are displayed OK in my Zotero library at zotero.org.
I see now that they are filed in the My Library general folder both there and (good news) in Zotero Standalone.
I though I had designated a subfolder, however: is that not possible?
