M1 in the RIS format
I am working on importing a large database from Reference Manager into Zotero. Since some of the RefMan fields are not supported in Zotero I want to send the information into 'extra' (e.g. RP for reprint status). Thus I have replaced RP, U1, U2; U3 to M1 in the RIS text file.
This works fine for all categories besides book chapter. Here the M1 is put into # of volumes (my translation from German).
I tried to find a mapping description for the RIS import into Zotero. Which RIS field in which categorie is imported to which Zotero field. That would be a big help. If this is not available can please somebody let me know which RIS field in the CHAP category is imported into teh Extra-category of Zotero?

the M1 to # of volumes mapping (as a fallback category) is a hack to accommodate Endnote's behavior.
M1 will also map to access date for webpages as a fallback.
M2 is consistently mapped to extra.
how many entry's does your Database have? How did you import it - my import of about 18.000 entrys via RIS always ends with an error.

so follow up in that thread if you're seeing the same problem described there.
If you're getting an actual error, start a new thread and provide the info requested by Dan.
