strip needless paragraph line feeds from pastes into notes

Most of the time when I cut and paste from pdf documents into Zotero notes, I get unwanted paragraph-mark line feeds that attempt to preserve the narrow column printed format of the source document. I would love to be able to strip those off and replace with a space character. I end up doing this manually or by pasting first into MS world and doing a global search and replace. If we just had the option to paste as raw ASCI text, would that not solve the problem? Not sure if this is a feature request or a bug report.

    Just to clarify, the note I am talking about is a new standalone or daughter note in the third pane of the Zotero plug-in associated with an object stored within Zotero, not a footnote or endnote in a document.
