Default "Maximum pages to index per file" setting makes "Attach link to file" agonizingly slow
When I attach a link to a file it was taking ~1:15 for this process to complete, every time. I tried setting my "Maximum characters to index per file" to 0 as a general strategy to speed things up, but it didn't help. However, when I set the "Maximum pages to index per file" to 0, that made the time drop to ~2 seconds. I figured that out in the process of writing this post, and I figured I'd go ahead and post it anyway, in case someone else has the same problem. (My Zotero folder is ~1GB, with 56,595 items, so I imagine there are a lot of pages to index.)
My debug ID is (was) D2033300619, in case that still matters to anybody.

dstillmanWe'll be overhauling Zotero's full-text search in the near future, which should speed up indexing for large files and in large libraries.
