Word plugin: in-text citations in content footnotes mess up internal IDs
I'm having problems with in-text citations within content footnotes (I am not using a footnoted citation style).
When I insert a citation in a footnote (in e.g. APA format), it works fine. However, if I then go back to another in-text citation in the body text of the document and I hit 'edit citation', Zotero brings up the very first citation in a footnote for editing. In other words, having in-text citations in footnotes somehow messes up the internal numbering Zotero uses to figure out which citation is which. This is quite an annoying problem for it means that I cannot reliably edit any of my in-text citations anymore.
A related issue is that the style in footnotes is somehow out of touch with the preferences. I.e. the Set Doc Prefs has no effect on in-text citations in footnotes.
Perhaps this is related to the problem reported a year ago by mccaskey: thread.
