Problem with drag n' drop for pdfs into Zotero

Hi all,

I'm pretty new to the Zotero community, so I'm sorry if you've seen this question before. I unfortunately wasn't able to find a solution in any forum.

I cannot drag n' drop numerous pdf files from either a usb or the desktop into my Zotero Standalone. On my old computer, I never had any problems, so I'm wondering : is there simply a preference setting I could change on the new computer?

    Generally that should just work.
    What OS? And what exactly does "can't" mean here - what happens if you try?

    Apologies for the delayed response.

    "Can't" here means that I would drag files, and they simply wouldn't transfer. Nothing would happen. I finally realized that by shrinking pdf names, the files would move.

    Are you using Zotero 4.0.8? This was a problem with earlier versions, but it should be fixed.

    If you can still reproduce this, can you provide a Report ID?

    You are correct, I am now using the latest zotero, and it is no longer a problem.
