Can't install Chrome connector from Chrome store

When I got to https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/zotero-connector/ekhagklcjbdpajgpjgmbionohlpdbjgc?hl=en to get the Chrome connector to install on a new computer, and I click "Add to Chrome" button, I get this message: "An error has occurred Download was not a CRX".

I searched and don't see anyone else reporting this problem, so am thinking it's new?

    this is not a Zotero problem. (If the file wasn't crx they wouldn't allow it in the chrome store.)
    Most likely a network issue on your part - try emtying your cache and restarting Chrome. If that doesn't help, ask google support.
