shortcut key

i am using a small language tool to make typing in Pali language easy. The tool uses alt+ctl+a to type a with a bar above it. Now that i have installed zotero add ons to my word processor, the zotero takes this short cut and i do not know how to remove it and continue to use it for the language tool.
  • I cannot remember from the top of my head how to do this and it may depend on the word version, but google provides a lot of instructions on how to adjust the shortcuts

  • You don't state which OS you are on. If you happen to be on a Mac: just use the US-extended keyboard (beside whatever your native keyboard may be). You can create the macron above your a ("ā") and all necessary accents for latinised Pali and Sanskrit without additional software. Other than what mronkko has suggested above this here may help.
