[MLZ] PDF attachments just empty shells with file names
(This may not be an MLZ issue. I'm just denoting that I use MLZ.)
It has been a frustrating couple of weeks. First my laptop crashes. Then I couldn't restore the OS on the replacement HDD. After that, Zotero sync would cause constant "read-only" error, which I found out was due to the firewall security level.
Now, I'm facing yet another daunting problem. The PDF attachments in my library are just empty shells, containing only the file name, modification date, index status but no contents! When I double click on the PDF attachment, Zotero says "file not found". Things are just as bleack on the server side. The PDF attachments in Zotero.org libary are also empty icons, with no hyperlinks.
I have no idea how this has happened. Is there a fix for this? I can go back to a local backup, but it dates back several days, so I'd like to be able to restore the server data.

wonbleeFortunately, my home computer still had the attachments intact, and I was able to solve my issue based on http://www.zotero.org/support/kb/files_not_syncing. Still, I have no idea why the attachments were removed from the Zotero server and my laptop.
