Automatically add current date on "accessed"

I frequently use features "add citation" in sites that provide the feature. What I miss much in zotero is it will automatically add current date on "accessed" in reference information. Since, whenever I add the citation I usually attach the article in Zotero simultaniously. However, chance we have downloaded an article before, it does not mean we cannot change the date information at all. Thanks.

    sorry, I don't understand - Zotero will automatically attach the access date from the day you imported the item into Zotero. That seems to make sense to me.
    If you want to update the access date of an item, just write "today" (without quotation marks) into the access date field.
