problem syncing Zotpad via dropbox
Greetings: I wonder if anyone can help me with a problem that I have been struggling with for days.
I got a new ipad, installed zotpad and figured out how to sync it with dropbox (including the symbolic link thing). Here's the problem: On zotpad, I see an earlier version of my zotero library. I think this is the version of my zotero library before I moved my zotero folder into dropbox (so that I could do the syncing to my ipad). All files and subcollections created after moving the folder *do not* appear in zotero.
The strange thing is that my zotero storage folder in dropbox (which is what i symbolically linked to zotpad) is completely up to date - i.e., has all of the articles, etc. that I downloaded and added to zotero last night. Since that's the folder that i linked from, I would have thought that everything from that folder would be accessible to zotpad, but for some reason that doesn't seem to be working.
If you have any advice for how to rectify thsi problem, I would really appreciate hearing from you. Thank you!

make sure to also report this to the ZotPad maker directly, who may not catch every thread on this forum.
This is most likely caused by not synchronizing your Zotero client with the Zotero server. With Dropbox, you still need to sync Zotero with the server because Dropbox will just transfer only files, but not any data about what the files are.
In general, I recommend using WebDAV instead of Dropbox, but if you have Dropbox already set up, it may not make sense to change this any more.
