Title-case in citations?

I've been using Zotero for a long time, but suddenly all my citations come out title-case, even if I've made sure they are in sentence-case in my library. This hasn't been a problem before - how do I keep the sentence-case format in citations?

Also, when I update older documents, the citations are changed into title-case types...

Can you provide more information? Zotero version? Style? Is there anything in the language field for the titlecased items?

I'm using version 3.0.11. The citation style is chicago manual full note. In the footnotes and bibliography the references are automatically title-cased, but mouseovers show sentence-case.

I use sources in different languages and so I would like to have my references mirror my library, where I have the option of choosing title- or sentence casing.
