Upgrade StorageSync apparently works... but it's not

I've had a read of the other syncing threads but haven't yet been able to solve my problem.
My PC has recently had a long-overdue overhaul (to Windows 7). I'm using Firefox 17.0 and have installed Zotero 3.0.11. Online, I can see my whole library. However, when I sync it appears to work - the green arrows spins and then stops, with no error appearing next to it - but then there is nothing there (except items which I have downloaded recently).

Make sure you're looking in the right place in your local library. How many items are there "My Library" on your computer?
