New User Name

I signed up for Zotero and inadvertently used the wrong user name. How do I change it?

    unfortunately it's not currently possible to change your username, as it's also used as an internal id for syncing and for forum posts.
    You can change and use your real name, though:

    right, what Rintze says. We should have proper account deletion shortly, so you can delete your old one.

    Yes and could I be notified via email when this is available? I have incorrectly mistyped the last two letters of my preferred username. SILLY, I know. But I would still like to delete my account to associate this email with the preferred username.
