syncing failure from zotero website to PC

I used a public computer, login in zotero website, and made a lot of notes online yesterday. Today I use PC to synchronize it, after that I cannot find what I typed yesterday, neither online nor on my computer. I wonder what's wrong? What's the method of zotero syncing? Does it mean that I can only sync stuff from my PC to the website and not the other way around?

I am frustrated... Thanks a lot!!!

sync goes both ways.
Not sure what happened - before you synced, did you check whether the notes were still online?
