Google Docs RTF output won't scan until I edit it
I searched for this topic but was surprised not to find anything. This was the closest I found.
When I export any Google doc as an RTF and then try to run RTF scan, Zotero doesn't find any references. If I then edit the RTF, say in WordPad, to add as little as one character and then rescan, everything seems to work fine. Is this a known problem with Google's output RTF format? Are there any plans for changes so this workaround isn't necessary?

I'm not sure if this will address your issue but your help is welcome, I think.
I'm having roughly the same problem, only in larger-scale terms, and using Word instead of Google Doc. SOME of my 50 or so references work automatically, but others require the above kludge. And even then, they don't work fine -- some still fail to scan and replace. I don't know a work around, and that's what I'm trying to figure out.
I'll contact Frank. Thanks.
