Moving zotero to new computer, OS, version of Firefox

I have Zotero for FireFox 14.0.1 on my desktop running Windows XP. I want to move it to my laptop running Windows 7 and Firefox 16.0.1.
I copied the entire applications data folder to the laptop's C: drive, but it is not linking to Firefox on the laptop. What am I really supposed to do?
