Upgrade StorageIdea: plugin to add pdf of table of contents via ISBN, where available
I have just come across isbn-toc, described here: http://beacon.findbuch.de/isbn/isbn-toc
It basically makes use of the fact that several big German library networks scan tables of contents of books and make them openly available.
It seems to me, this would make a neat plugin for Zotero which would check if the table of contents for a book is available when it is added to Zotero (as long as the ISBN is coming through in metadata, that is), and if that is the case, add the pdf to the reference (while giving it some name which makes clear that this is the table of contents).
I am supposed to be finishing writing up my PhD so won't be able to look into this anytime soon - which is why I am putting the idea out there, in case someone else wants to give it a try.
