Multi-volume works with multiple dates - footnote

In Chicago Full Note format I cannot get the footnotes to display the multiple dates of publication for a multi-volume work. For instance, in zotero I enter, under publication date, 1964-1979, but when I create a footnote, it only displays 1964. Any help for someone not hugely literate in these matters? Thanks

Search the forums for "range" using the search link in the left hand column (NOT the search field above). Date ranges can be a problem for Zotero. There are several discussions about work-arounds.

date ranges aren't currently possible - shouldn't be terribly long until we get there, though.
