Importing from Omeka issue

I have been able to import into Zotero items from my Omeka site, but other items run into an error.

Firefox, site translator, and Zotero are all up to date.

    confirmed - I'll take a look.

    the problem is only the first item on that page, which has an empty author. All others work. This is a general Zotero issue with empty authors, which I think should be fixed, I can see what can be done about that.

    I don't know much about COinS standards, but it also doesn't seem like clean code to me from the Omeka side of things - items without an author shouldn't have an rtf.author - omeka just leaves it empty - so I'd also report that to them.

    there is now a patch for this - I expect it to be merged before the next Zotero version and this will work again, you can follow along here.

    Thanks. The problem lied with empty spaces that had a value of " ". As I created .CSV sheets to upload to Omeka, hitting [ENTER] on the spreadsheet amounted to hitting the spacebar once in the cell. So, Omeka was reading the empty space as one spacebar hit.

    My issue was then trying to import into Zotero my Omeka database, and there was where I ran into an error.

    OK, no need to report to Omeka then. As I say above, this will likely be fixed in the next Zotero version.
