export citations with notes
I have read all the threads about annotated bibliographies and I am still confused. I can export my citations, but how do I get the information I have recorded in the notes to export along with each citation as well. I read somewhere about writing text in the "extra" field but that did not show up for me either.
1. You can't get notes (i.e. the yellow items with the post-it icon) into citations/bibliographies). The only way to have them displayed together with item information in a pretty looking way are reports:

2. You _can_ have annotated bibliographies using the content of the extra field. Currently the only such style on the repository is the Chicago Manual annotated style - but it's relatively easy to add this for other styles.

there is only one style (search for "annotated" and it'll come up) that does that. You need to install that style by clicking on it and then select it when you export a bibliography.
As I say above, this can be added to other styles, but that requires changing them (in a relatively trivial way).
Does it work when you save it as RTF or use the word processor plugin?
I'll have a look at the output - this should work as RTF.
Did you look at the RTF output?
If you use the clipboard, though, this should work correctly, at least it does for me.
Then go to your word processor of choice and select Edit --> Paste (or Ctrl+v (Cmd+v on Mac))
generally see here:

specifically, all you need to change is to change
display="block"
to
display="indent"
in the fourth line from the bottom of the style.
You can also add that exact same line at the same position in any other citation style for the same effect.
Sorry, there is no time to keep track of people to notify of updates.
