Bug in citing letters (Chicago author-date style)

Dear Zotero community,

I have the following problem with citing letters in Chicago author-date style. When I create a bibliography, letters appear like this:

Simpson, HomerLetter to Simpson, Marge. 2012. "Where is my donut".

The problem is that the period and space are missing before 'Letter' and that the letter should be cited with exact date, including day and month, like this:

Simpson, Homer. Letter to Simpson, Marge. September 3, 2012. "Where is my donut".

Additionally, when I enter a document into Zotero as "Email" it is also cited in the bibliography (in Chicago author-date style) as "Letter to", with the same problems as above.

Could you let me now how to fix this? I am using an altered version of the newest Chicago author-date format, so hints on where and what to change in the code would be great.

Thank so much for your time and support!

Best,

Anna
