Import EndNote X5 library to Zotero 3.0.8
Hi,
I´m new to Zotero and I want to import my Endnote X5 library (with about 22975 references)to Zotero so I can work here from now on.
But there is a problem: I followed all the recomended steps like exporting from endnote with RIS style and text format and then importing this new library to zotero. Everytime I make this operation, however, zotero warns me that «There was an error trying to import the selected archive. Please make sure that the archive is valid and try again». Even with a much smaller library (with about 580 references) the problem is the same.
I would appreciate, please!, any help from someone in the forum.
Many thanks

1. Download this file:
https://github.com/aurimasv/translators/raw/54dcf44f23b65c5bf1b50e95f25db928a1d505ef/RIS.js
2. Place that file in the folder "Translators" in your Zotero data directory:
http://www.zotero.org/support/zotero_data
overwriting the file with the same name (this is easy to undo later).
3. Restart Firefox/Zotero
4. Try again.
5. If that doesn't work, please do two things:
a)provide an error report ID for such an import attempt:
www.zotero.org/support/reporting_bugs
b) try this for a really small library - with 10 or so entries and if that doesn't work, post the content of that RIS file to pastebin.com and provide a link here (you can open the RIS file with any texteditor like Notepad or TextEdit).
The new import translator it's a good tool. It works. But there is a problem, yet. After I made the import with an endnote library with about 550 references everything worked very well. However when I made the experiment with my main library (with about 22987 references) then I received again the same warning: "There was an error trying to import the selected archive. Please make sure that the archive is valid and try again". In spite of this I must say that there were imported about 1300 references in the total amount of 22987 references. But this is not enough. I must have all the references in the library in just one time.
Help me, please!
