Style Request: Journal of Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine
I would like to request a citation style for the Journal of Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine.
Using Steve Ridout's CSL editor (http://steveridout.com/csl/searchByExample/) I was able to see that the currently available style for Fungal Ecology is very close to the required style, but I could not find the correct field to change for some of the edits required.
There only appear to be punctuation changes needed to the bibliography style (period after final author, comma after year, comma after title, comma after journal title, no period at end), but the way the journal title is reported also needs to change to the abbreviation instead of the full title.
Current Fungal Ecology Style:
Bishop JA, Palanca AA, Bellino MJ, Lowenberg DW, 2012. Assessment of Compromised Fracture Healing. Journal of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons 20: 273–282.
Required style needed for this journal:
Salgado AJ, Coutinho OP, Reis RL. 2004, Bone tissue engineering state of the art and future trends, Macromol Biosci, 4: 743-765
The in-text citation style also needs a comma between name and year. I will paste the requirements in below just for sake of completeness of the request.
Reference style:
References should be quoted in the text as name and year e.g. (Smith et al., 2006), and listed at the end of the paper alphabetically. Where three or more authors are listed in the reference list, please cite in the text as (Collins et al., 1998). If 2 authors are listed then both should be shown in the text (Collins and Williams 2001).
Books: Reis RL. San Roman J. 2004, Biodegradable Systems in the Journal of Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine, CRC Press, Boca Raton, FL, USA
Chapters in books: Gomes ME, Mikos AG, Reis RL. 2004, ‘Injectable Polymeric Scaffolds for Bone Tissue Engineering’ in Biodegradable Systems in Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine, eds. Reis RL, San Roman J, CRC Press, Boca Raton, FL, USA; 29-38
I hope that starting with the Fungal Ecology style this request will not be too burdensome. Thank you in advance for the help.
