Drag and drop

Hello!

I use Zotero Standalone 3.0.8.1 together with Google Chrome 21.0.1180.79 on Mac and Windows. When I use my Windows PC I can compose an E-Mail message with Gmail and drag an attached file (usually a pdf) from Zotero to my E-Mail message to send it as an attachment. Unfortunately this does not work on Mac... :-( Is there a way that I can get this kind of functionality on my Mac too?

No. As far as I know, this is a limitation of OS X: Only Finder or window manager can place files in clipboard.

Hm, ok. But I _can_ drag a pdf from Zotero to my Mac Desktop. And I can also drag ist from the Desktop as an attachment to my mail. But _not_ on the direct way from Zotero to a mail?!? Funny....

Both of your examples have Finder as one participant, and Finder is a special case.
