JOURNAL OF JURISTIC PAPYROLOGY - moving (ed,) after the editor's name?
Dear all,
I've spent whole day today working on a style for the Journal of Juristic Papyrology. I am almost done, but I have one difficult problem (spent two hours on it without any results):
- (ed.)/(eds.) appears before the editor's/editors' name, whereas it should come after it
Would be most grateful for your help - it is the first time I am doing anything with the CSL and hope to learn more and propagate the zotero more effectively within byzantine studies.
My code :
<locale xml:lang="en">
<terms>
<term name="et-al">and others</term>
<term name="editor" form="short"><single>ed.</single><multiple>eds.</multiple></term>
<term name="edition" form="short">edn</term>
<term name="translator" form="short">trans. by</term>
</terms>
</locale>
<macro name="editor-translator">
<choose>
<if type="chapter paper-conference" match="any">
<text term="in" text-case="lowercase" prefix="[" suffix=":] "/>
</if>
</choose>
<group delimiter=", ">
<names variable="editor" delimiter=", ">
<label form="short" text-case="lowercase" prefix=" (" suffix=".) "/>
<name and="symbol" delimiter=", " delimiter-precedes-last="never" font-variant="small-caps" initialize-with=". "/>
</names>
<choose>
<if variable="author editor" match="any">
<names variable="translator" delimiter=", ">
<label form="short" text-case="lowercase" prefix=" (" suffix=".) "/>
<name and="symbol" delimiter=", " delimiter-precedes-last="never" font-variant="small-caps" initialize-with=". "/>
</names>
</if>
</choose>
</group>
</macro>

you currently have
<label...
<name... you want the opposite. Specifically
<name and="symbol" delimiter=", " delimiter-precedes-last="never" font-variant="small-caps" initialize-with=". "/>
<label form="short" text-case="lowercase" prefix=" (" suffix=") "/>

sorry for not having answered you within reasonable time. I've been moving to a different post and a different country last two months.
As for the Journal of Jouristic Papyrology style, the problem is that what I achieved was sufficient for me (or rather - was very helpful), but it was not the true final style for this journal. I managed to put all elements of a footnote/biblography in proper order and in proper format, however, in certain types of bibliographic itmes double commas appeared, as well as a few other things, which were easy to correct in an entire book with the help of Ctrl+F. So it took me just two hours to get everything in order and in accordance with the journal (and the book series) rules, but it was not a true journal citation style. This is why I have not submitted it. Sorry!
If you are eager to help me with getting these things done, I am happy to share the style and describe the problems.
Kind regards,
Adam

I am once again extremely sorry it took me so much time. I think I can find out what is still lacking as compared to the journals stylesheet - http://www.taubenschlagfoundation.pl/download/guidelines_for_jjp_articles.pdf
If you submit corrections or additions to the style in the future, please always work with the most recent copy from the style repository, as we frequently adjust the formatting of styles slightly.
Thank you for contributing!
