Will Zotero run with Firefox 3

Firefox 3 will be announced in an couple of days. What should Zotero users do ? Will Zotero 1.0.3 be compatible with FF3 ? Should be wait with the FF update up to a new Zotero version ?
Thanks

No, because they incorrectly set the maxVersion string to 3.0pre instead of 3.0.*. I have Zotero 1.0.4 and it's still not working with FF 3. Hopefully the developers will fix the maxVersion string so that FF3 users can help test the extension.

There's nothing incorrect about the maxVersion string—1.0.4 was released before RC1, and extensions aren't supposed to set maxVersion higher than the currently available version. You just need to have add-on update checking enabled in Firefox so that Firefox can check the update manifest for the current maxVersion (which is 3.0). Thousands of users are happily using the Firefox 3 release candidates with Zotero 1.0.4.

From Mozilla's Extension Versioning, Update and Compatibility page:
minVersion and maxVersion should specify the range of versions of the application you have tested with. In particular you should never specify a maxVersion that is larger than the currently available version of the application since you do not know what API and UI changes are just around the corner. With compatibility updating it is not necessary to release a whole new version of the extension just to increase its maxVersion.
