Cannot drag items to a collection

I have a subcollection called "B" within collection "A." I'm trying to drag some sources from my library into the subcollection, but nothing happens. I don't get any sign that they've even been dragged (ie, the items don't seem to move).

Any ideas? This is really weird. I'm running Zotero on Firefox 2.0.0.12 on Mac OSX.5.
