PubMed Citations
Hi there,
i have a special Question which is not related to Zotero however i don't really know where to ask so i ask here since someone of you might know it.
What i am currently trying to do is to use the Entrez API of Pubmed to collect some important data and save it in my own database. I used the Zotero database structure for my own database and modified it a bit - i asked for that in a different topic here 2 weeks ago.
Example: http://eutils.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/eutils/efetch.fcgi?db=pubmed&id=9999999&retmode=xml
This link gives me some important Data about the article with ID 9999999 in XML format to be saved in my Database. Thats already working really good. But where do i get from any citations? What i really need are the citations. So: Which other articles did that article with id 9999999 citate? Where do i get it from?
I read over the manual from pubmed (http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/books/NBK25501/) but i can't find it anywhere. Does anybody know how i can do that?
Thanks a lot!
