Standalong and Firefox plugin are not synchronized though using same data directory
Hi!
I am experiencing two issues that I guess could be related.
1) The Firefox plugin used to be synchronized with Zotero standalone, but changes in standalone have stopped being mirrored in the Firefox plugin. (I.e. they seem to be two separate databases.)
I am positive that the data directory in the plugin and standalone are the same. Clicking the "show data directory" button in either opens the same directory. If click "show data directory" in the Firefox plugin preferences, and then click "show data directory" in the standalone preferences, the directory window regains focus, so it clearly is the same directory.
2) The Chrome connector works well when activated from icon in the address bar, but the context menu "Save Zotero Snapshot" never finishes, but simply shows the "Saving" message in the lower right of the screen.
System: Windows 7 x64, Chrome 19 (Connector 3.03), Firefox 13 (Plugin 3.09), Zotero standalone 3.03.
Firefox shows a JavaScript error, that I have reported as Error ID: 1707889056. (Seems to be about being unable to read Chrome.manifest.)
Thanks!

Post separate issues to separate threads.
I just went through the procedure to show that they were referring to the same data directory.
Thanks. Will be happy to try out any suggestions to replicate further.
Yes: If I open standalone, and then launch Firefox and press the Zotero button, Standalone Zotero is brought to front.
The second problem stands though:
2) The Chrome connector works well when activated from the icon in the address bar, but the context menu "Save Zotero Snapshot" never finishes, but simply keeps showing the "Saving" message in the lower right of the screen.
