problem with Zotero and Word 2010 (Chinese system)

Dear Zotero community,

I am right now encountering an issue with Zotero.

(this first paragraph provides detailed information about the conditions in which I am using zotero)
I just installed the latest version of the software as well as the latest pug-in (respectively Zotero 3.0.7 for Firefox and Word for Windows Plugin 3.1.7 ). I opened word 2010 (in Chinese, but it is NOT the starting version)but there was no zotero bar. I serached on zotero's website and saw that I will have to follow a few more steps: I found the zotero dot file and copied it in the "startup" folder of microsoft office (I think the location is slightly different from what described on the website, probably because I use a Chinese computer). I opened word 2010 once more and saw the zotero toolbar. I thought: "Victory!".

(here is the ******* problem, now)
Alas, when I click on the toolbar in word 2010 (and yes, firefox is running), I always have the same mistake: "Zotero Integration Error: Zotero could not load the component required to communicate with your word processor. Please ensure that the appropriate extension is installed and try again."

(now, here is the reason why you should be very merciful to me)
As I am writing a PHD (in France and China... this is why I am using a Chinese system) and have been using zotero for three years to manage references, I really need to have it working again... everything has been perfect for 3 years with word 2007... I hope I will manage to use zotero in word 2010.
The people who will help me will receive... my eternal gratitude...well, it is still better than nothing, no? No big difference? Well, ok...

By the way, thank you for reading!

    Hi & thanks Gracile,

I had similar problems, though on an English system: the add-in toolbar did not appear.

What resolved the problem was to shut down my local database server system xampp. Now, I am not really a geek, but this rang a bell: xampp interferes also with Skype, because they are competing over the same ports to get through the firewall.

So what helped was: terminating Skype, xampp, and Word, then downloading the integration tool & restarting Firefox, copying the .dot file and restarting Word.

Hope this helps for you too.
