Exporting PDFs into an RIS file

So I'm trying to export various records from Zotero as an RIS file. The issue is that it's not including the pdf documents into the RIS (even if I try to import the file immediately after creating it, the pdfs aren't included). Is there a way to fix this so that it will include the pdfs? I saw another thread from a couple years ago, but it seemed as though coding was required for each document, which is rather time consuming. I'm curious if a more structural fix is possible. Or if there's simply some setting I missed that could account for this issue.
