Custom Citation Help - cae2011-word.doc

Hi all,
I've spent the last week learning the citationStyles-1.0 format, so I can implement this specific citation spec. And its hard!

Here is what the details are:
----Citation spec----
For your references please use the following algorithm:
• one author: first 3 chars plus year – e.g.[Lou90]
• two, three or four authors: first char of each family name plus year – e.g.[FH93] or [KSS97] or [LFTG97]
• more than 3 authors: first char of family name from first 3 authors followed by a ‘*’ followed by the year –e.g.[BFH*98] or [FvDF*93]
----------------------------

I thought it would have been popular - but no one seems to have implemented the csl script yet and shared it.

So I would love some advice or help. I'm a total noob with the csl styles - I've read around and done lots of tinkering.

Thanx for any help,

Ben
  • this isn't fully supported and note a great place to start for a csl beginner.
