Upgrade StorageRepeated problems with Z standalone and LO 3.5.3.2 on W7x32

Got this problem previously with Z for Ff 12 and received suggestion to try without addons, or try with standalone -- so tried using Z Standalone but still getting similar or same problem -- attempt to enter new citation into list
(compiling list of references) but Z "hangs" -- like someone else mentioned with Ff 12 get the temporary Z loading window, which stops filling and no progress follows -- right hand icons in window all fade out to white
repeat this problem occurs without any addons (other than the standard Z ones for WP integration)
could this be a java problem -- error message comes up saying something about java -- have two JRE installed, 1.6.0.31 and 1.7.0.03
ideas anyone?

AussieExpat"fixed" the problem but no way I'd ever really want -- uninstalled LO, went back to earlier version, uninstalled JRE 7, installed JRE 6 instead, re-installed Z's WP integration into new LO install -- works now, quite well, but should it really be necessary to make this backward step -- could it have been the JRE v7 afterall interfering with Z?
